Where is my order?
We do not have a login-based tracking page yet, and rather than build a half-working one we do this instead:
- 1
Check your email
Your confirmation email has your order number in it (it looks like
SP-260824-4F7K). When the parcel leaves Gilgit you get a second email and an SMS with the courier's tracking number. - 2
Track with the courier
That tracking number goes straight into your courier's own tracking page. Theirs updates faster than anything we could show you.
- 3
Still nothing? Ask us
Message us the order number on WhatsApp and we will look it up by hand, usually within the hour. We can see exactly which box it went into.
Delivery across Pakistan
Flat rate per order, not per bag. Free over Rs 4,000 everywhere. Orders placed before 2:00 pm PKT leave the same afternoon.
| Area | Rate | Time | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gilgit-Baltistan | Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, Ghizer, Astore, Shigar, Ghanche | Rs 200 | 1–2 working days |
| Major cities | Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta | Rs 250 | 2–4 working days |
| Rest of Pakistan | All other cities and towns served by our courier | Rs 350 | 3–6 working days |
| AJK & remote northNo Cash on Delivery | Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Chitral, Upper Kohistan, Chilas | Rs 450 | 4–8 working days |
- Working days are Monday to Saturday. Nothing moves on public holidays, and the Karakoram Highway occasionally closes for weather — if that affects your parcel we email you rather than let you wonder.
- Everything is packed in food-grade, light-blocking pouches, and jars are wrapped and boxed. If a jar still breaks, that is on us — see returns below.
Returns, replacements, refunds
Food is different from a shirt — we cannot resell an opened bag. So instead of a returns process, we have a replacement promise.
If anything is wrong with what arrived — it leaked, it is not what you ordered, it does not taste right, the bag was short — email or WhatsApp us a photo within seven days. We replace it on the next dispatch or refund it in full, whichever you prefer. You keep what arrived; posting food back and forth helps nobody.
If you simply changed your mind and the parcel is unopened, send it back within fourteen days and we refund the goods once it reaches us. Return postage is yours in that case.
Refunds go back the way the money came. Card payments return to the same card in five to ten working days. Cash on Delivery and bank transfers are refunded by bank transfer, usually within two working days of us agreeing it.
No forms, no ticket numbers, no returns authorisation code. Just tell us what happened.

Tap any question to open it. If yours is not here, ask us and we will add it.
Ordering
Do I need an account to order?
No. Everything is guest checkout — name, address, phone, and how you want to pay. We are not asking you to remember another password.
Can I pay cash when it arrives?
Yes, Cash on Delivery is available almost everywhere in Pakistan. The courier calls before arriving, so please have the exact amount ready. The one exception is AJK and the remote north, where the courier will not carry cash for us.
Is paying by card safe on this site?
Your card number never reaches us. When you choose card, you are handed to Stripe's own payment page — the same system used by thousands of shops worldwide — and sent back here afterwards. We only ever learn whether the payment succeeded.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If you contact us within an hour of ordering, almost always yes — we can usually catch the parcel before it leaves the packing house. After it is with the courier we can no longer change the address.
Do you gift wrap?
Yes, and it is free. Write what you would like on the card in the notes box at checkout and we will hand-write it. Say the word and we will leave the prices off the packing slip.
The products
Why are your apricots brown, not orange?
Because nothing has been added to them. Bright orange dried apricots have been treated with sulphur dioxide, which locks the colour in place. Ours are dried in open mountain air and go the deep brown that an apricot actually goes. It is the single clearest sign you are holding the real thing.
Is there any added sugar or preservative?
None in the dried fruit or nuts — it is fruit, dried, and nothing else. The jams are fruit, sugar and lemon juice, cooked in small batches. No pectin, no glucose syrup, no colour, no preservative.
How long does it keep, and how should I store it?
Six to nine months in a sealed jar or the pouch it came in, somewhere cool and out of the sun. In summer, or in Karachi's humidity, the fridge is better. Kernels and walnuts are the most delicate — those genuinely prefer the fridge, or the freezer if you have bought a kilo.
Are the bitter apricot kernels safe?
Bitter kernels naturally contain amygdalin and are a traditional ingredient used in very small amounts, not a snack. We sell them with clear usage guidance on the product page and on the pack. If you are pregnant, buying for a child, or unsure, choose the sweet Halman kernels instead — they are the ones you eat by the handful.
Why is something sold out?
Because it only grows once a year. We buy a season's worth in summer, and when it is gone it is gone until the next harvest. The harvest calendar on our story page shows exactly when each thing comes down the mountain.
Is it organic certified?
Most of it is grown the way organic certification describes — these are small terraced orchards that have never seen industrial spraying. But certification is expensive paperwork that a grower with two hundred trees cannot justify, so we do not claim a label we have not paid for. We would rather tell you the village.
Delivery
How long will it take?
One to two working days inside Gilgit-Baltistan, two to four to the major cities, three to six elsewhere. Order before 2:00 pm PKT and it leaves the same afternoon.
When is delivery free?
On every order over Rs 4,000, anywhere in Pakistan. Below that, the rate depends on your area — the table above shows all of them.
Do you ship outside Pakistan?
Not yet. It is the request we get most, and we are working on UAE and UK first. Join the harvest notes at the bottom of any page and you will hear the week it opens.
What if the parcel is damaged or something leaks?
Photograph it before you unpack any further and email us. We replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, and we do not ask you to post anything back. A leaking jam jar is our packing problem, not yours.

Stockists
For now, this website is the only place to buy Siachen Picks. We would rather ship it to you fresh than let it sit on a shelf under warm lights.
Independent shop and want to carry us? That is a wholesale conversation — the middle column is for you.

What we collect. Only what is needed to get a parcel to you: your name, email, phone number and delivery address, plus what you ordered. If you sign up to the harvest notes, your email address.
What we never see. Your card details. Card payments happen on Stripe's pages, and all we are told is whether the payment worked.
Who else gets it. The courier gets your name, address and phone number, because otherwise they cannot find you. Stripe gets your email for the receipt. Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade customer lists, and there is no advertising tracker on this site.
How long we keep it. Order records for as long as tax rules require. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe — every email has a one-click link, and it works.
Your call. Email hello@siachenpicks.com and ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We will do it within thirty days, and we will not ask you why.
Terms of sale
Prices are in Pakistani Rupees and include any tax that applies. Delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay. We reserve the right to correct an obvious pricing mistake — if that ever affects your order we will contact you and refund in full rather than surprise you.
Stock. These are seasonal crops. If something sells out between your order and our packing, we tell you the same day and refund that item immediately.
Natural variation is not a fault. Colour, size and sweetness change from valley to valley and year to year, because nothing here is standardised in a factory. Weights are net at packing.
Allergens. We handle nuts, kernels and dried fruit in one packing house, so we cannot promise any product is free from traces of another. Bitter apricot kernels are sold as a traditional culinary ingredient to be used sparingly, with guidance on the pack — please follow it.
Complaints and disputes start with an email to us, and in our experience end there. If not, the laws of Pakistan apply.
